1979 Sugar Bowl

1981 Sugar Bowl
No. 1 Georgia entered the Sugar Bowl seeking its first national title. Notre Dame was out to prove that the "unbeaten, untied and unbelievable" Bulldogs had escaped the regular season 11-0 as a matter of luck.
1985 Fiesta Bowl
The lead changed hands six times. The combatants combined for 827 yards of offense. And the scoring was fast and furious up until the game's final moments.
1988 Rose Bowl
After 22 years of placing anywhere but first in the Big Ten, Michigan State finally made it to Pasadena to face, of all teams, USC, a team it had beaten 27-13 in its season opener.
1992 Fiesta Bowl
